Description: 

Teaching Chinese grammar, spelling, pronunciation, vocabulary and composition;
guiding students on conversational Chinese; teaching students about Chinese language literature, culture and history;

Creating engaging lesson plans; planning classroom activities to motivate students; preparing visual aids; grading homework and exams; coaching students individually or as a group;

Communicating with parents and other teachers about a student's progress; and other tasks as assigned; 

Providing specific and timely feedback on academic efforts, behavior and work quality,
and maintaining a classroom that is designed and organized for maximal student learning.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree required with a minimum of a 2.50 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

A minimum of one (1) year teaching experience preferred.

Clear renewable certification from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission in Chinese (P-12) or be eligible for permit.
