Provides leadership in the development and coordination of the health services program for a specific cluster; serves as central resource with regards to school health issues system-wide. Identifies the health care needs of students and the availability of health services/resources and develops individual health plans and implements services to meet those needs. Reports directly to the Director of Student Services.
Provides leadership and coordinates district's health service program for a specified cluster/area; monitors and evaluates the health service program to improve service delivery.
Supervises School Healthcare Technicians specifically assigned cluster/area.
Develops plans for improvement of record-keeping and data retrieval of student health records and data.
Consults with state, country, and federal health agencies to develop professional relationships in reference to monitoring and reporting health issues; serves as a resource to parents and teachers concerning health problems of students.
Coordinates procurement and distribution of equipment and supplies; maintain central reports of inventory.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s and Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 – 5 years supervisory healthcare service experience required.
RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) required
